Mary Chauvel (b. 1996) is a working artist and designer residing in her hometown in the woods of Texas. After graduating from the Academy of Art in 2020 with a bachelor's in Fine Art, Mary began working as a full-time artist and has recently branched into interior design. She recently had her first solo show, Smoke & Mirrors, in March of 2022 at MRKT Gallery. A primarily figurative and portrait artist, Mary has been recently inspired by the Bay Area figurative movement. Her work focuses on the mundane, everyday snapshots of her life, which she turns into precious moments captured in oil paint.
